This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Pittsburgh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Nice little gem with an exemplary service team and great food, right next to UPMC Children's hospital. We randomly came across this restaurant on a weekend food hunt and was extremely pleased by the time we finished our lunch. The service was amazing and it felt like a nice family place. Space is limited, decor is understated, there were 3 tables if you are a party of 3-5 and 3 more for couples, so better to call and block a space if you are planning ahead. It looked like a typical place for regular customers in the area. We ordered Pad See Ew, Pad Cashew with Veggies and Tofu, veggie soup, and Fresh spring rolls, everything was super yummy. The spice level is decent and you can go all the way up to 5 if you have the appetite for it but 4 was a perfect medium spice level for us and 2 for kids. They give a complementary Salad with ginger dressing and a spring roll with any entrΓ©e. The thai iced coffee was good as well. Parking can be a pain as the garage right opposite to the restaurant is only for emergency or with patient appointments. There are few stairs to get inside without any ramp and hence is not wheelchair accessible. We had to take couple of rounds to find street parking

The food is exceptionally good , reminds you of Thailand. The service personnel were very helpful and friendly, however the place is pretty small , I just wish to have a better ambiance with this good food . Panang curry is delicious

The Praram Peanut with tofu was amazing. Large portion and it included a ginger salad and spring role. Great service.

Love this place! Small, quiet, gem. I’ve had the drunken noodles, pad see ew, and panang curry and all are delicious. The food comes out quickly and they bring you a small complimentary salad and spring roll before your main meal if you order an entree, as marked on the menu (at least at lunchtime, not sure about dinner service). The salad dressing is really good. Thai iced tea is also flavorful and has just the right amount of sweetness. Give this place a try!

We enjoyed EVERY BITE. We had pumpkin curry, pineapple curry, Beef noodle soup ( ? ), orange chicken, and sticky rice desert to share. We drove an hour to get there, but it definitely worth the drive. The best of the bests Thai restaurants ever. We already were discussing what we will be trying next time! Thank you for the great food and great hospitality!
